About the Founders
We're Alex and Colleen, the founders of The SolCraft Group.
At first glance, our careers couldn't have looked more different.
But beneath the surface, we discovered we had been building the same thing all along.
Eventually, we realized our paths weren't leading in different directions.
They were leading us together.
SolCraft became the place where our different experiences, perspectives, and passions could finally exist together.
Today, we continue to learn, create, and solve problems side by side,
building something greater than either of us could have created alone.
We're glad you're here.
Welcome to
The SolCraft Group.
Meet Colleen
Colleen sees the potential in people, ideas, and experiences. She creates environments where creativity awakens, connection deepens, and people remember who they are.
She instinctively notices the details that others often overlook, the way a space feels before anyone says a word, the subtle choices that elevate good design into something unforgettable, the emotional thread beneath a conversation, or the craftsmanship behind something created with genuine care.
Whether working with luxury brands, educating artists, creating visual experiences, developing brand identities, or painting, Colleen has always been entrusted with shaping how people experience a moment. She understands that the smallest details often have the greatest impact, not only on how something looks, but on how it feels, what it communicates, and what people remember long after the experience has ended.
People often describe Colleen as calming, thoughtful, and deeply present. Those qualities shape the way she leads, collaborates, and creates. She builds trust quickly, helps people feel seen, and has a remarkable ability to recognize possibilities, connections, and potential that others often overlook. Whether guiding a creative project, shaping a brand, or working one-on-one with a client, she naturally creates the conditions for people and ideas to flourish.
To Colleen, creativity has never been confined to a single medium. Whether through artistry, education, design, branding, storytelling, or business, the goal has always been the same: to create experiences that leave people feeling more connected, to themselves, to others, and to what's possible.
For Colleen, SolCraft became the first place that could hold all of her.
Meet Alex
Alex rarely sees things as they are.
He sees what they could become.
Where others see limitations, he sees systems. Where others see a broken machine, an impossible project, or a missing piece, he sees a puzzle worth solving. His mind is already three steps ahead, connecting ideas, testing possibilities, and quietly working toward a solution.
Throughout his career, that mindset has taken him through large-scale production, engineering, fabrication, leadership, restoration, and custom projects that rarely come with instruction manuals. He's energized by work that's different every day, where experience, adaptability, and collaboration matter more than following a formula.
Alex approaches every challenge with curiosity, practicality, and an unmistakable sense of humor. He genuinely enjoys solving problems that others walk away from and believes the best solutions emerge when talented people bring different perspectives together.
Planning matters, but experience has taught Alex that every project evolves once the real work begins. His greatest strength is knowing when to trust the plan, when to adapt, and how to move forward without losing sight of the outcome.
For Alex, craftsmanship is equal parts technical skill and creative thinking. At SolCraft, he brings those worlds together to design, repair, restore, and build solutions that often don't exist until someone imagines them. He believes almost anything is possible with enough understanding, collaboration, and the willingness to figure it out.
